One of my squad members felt led to fast as a squad until we launch and of course all of us jumped on board. At first I was going to do it because well everyone else was and it was something we were all doing together as a squad, as a community, as a team. The idea is for people to pick one or more days to fast and fill up the last 40 days until launch with our squad fasting. When I prayed about what my days should be, well lets just say it was more than I was expecting.

God said every day. I would be fasting every day until launch. Not only that but it would be something different almost everyday. My first instinct was to resist this and not follow what I was being told but then a loud voice come to me and basically said "shut up! and listen, this is my word and I have something for you in these coming days!" and I did. I shut up and listened. God was present and there guiding me just as I've been asking for. I just have not stopped moving or talking enough to hear what He was     trying to get through to me.

So I listened and I have been fasting, and I am blessed. Its been a bit of challenge some days but I have my squad to encourage me and keep me motivated. When I am fasting I take the time I would usually spend on those things and spend time with God and getting things done for launch and the Race. Everyday we do a zoom call with people who are fasting that day and have a mini Bible Study. 

God is so good. He has brought so much to the surface and moved pieces in me that have previously been immobile. I have fasted things from food to social media and I have 29 days left. I am so open and ready to see how God moves the rest of this month. He is preparing me for something and I'm ready to receive it when He says I am.
