We have been in Jaco, Costa Rica now for 11 days. These last 11 days have been the craziest, most powerful, world shaking days I have had in a very long time, if ever. The Lord has shown up and wrecked me in so many ways. From the daily devos with a church elder to the manual labor of the ministry work.

This specific story comes to mind. During one of our devos with the elder, he was talking about healing and the significance of anointing with oil. Towards the end of our time he asked if anyone needed or wanted to be anointed with oil and prayed for. Many people went up and got prayed over, the Holy Spirit was there and healing. Suddenly I got this overwhelming feeling to get my shofar. Quick backstory, I got a shofar (religious horn, made from a rams horn) after praying and speaking to another racer on a different route, they had a vision of me with it, and encouraged me to buy one and take it with me, so I did. This feeling that cam over me was the most powerful and core shaking feeling I had ever had. So I obviously couldn’t ignore it, I got up and quickly grabbed it and went back to the group. Before the elder could end the session I got up and told the group about the shofar and that God was going to tell me when to use and that was the moment to. and graciously they aloud it. While and after blowing my shofar cheers rang out and eyes pooled with tears of joy, gratitude, and love. The elder was over the moon and was so thankful in that moment, he explained that the shofar confuses the enemy, so when I blew it after the prayers it confused the enemy from finding those who were healing. Usually after fulfilling what the Lord is asking of me I stop basically physically vibrating, but I still was buzzing. I stop and listened and he said to grab the anointing oil i bought with the shofar, that I had no idea why I had because I have never anointed anyone with oil and didn’t see that happening on this journey, but it was all in His plan. The elder had also taught on who elders truly were and our squad leaders were our elders and to treat them as so. So God told me to get the oil and give is to them for their anointing and to anoint them with oil myself. I was in disbelief, I have never done this before, I didn’t know how to do this but the Holy Spirit was moving and I wasn’t going to be the one to disobey and stop it. I went to my squad leaders and told them I had this oil for them and asked if I could anoint them. They were in awe and happily accepted. While anointing Cami, I was about to move on to Mack and the Lord loudly said to anoint each of their hands as well as their heads. So I said, “Yes, Lord!” and anointed their heads and hands praying. I was so out of my element but the Holy Spirit was just flowing.

This is just one story of what the Lord has been doing here in Jaco, Costa Rica. We still have about a month left here and I am so excited to see how he is going to move even more. I am stepping into His presence, into obedience, and boldness. Thank you God for this journey and what you have for me, my team, the squad and the people you put in our paths.

God Bless
