The Lord is such an artist.

I was on the beach watching the sunset, the sky pink and peaceful. I looked down and started walking. I heard the word "stop" and knew I needed to look up. The sky had turned orange. This is significant because my favorite color is sunset orange and I got the feeling the Lord was saying that view was for me. Tears started down my cheeks. I looked at the sky made just for me and saw a separation of light and clouded darkness. I listened to the beautiful voice in my heart telling me that the darkness is receding and the He is surrounding and is in the darkness with me.

I kept just looking, walking and feeling the waves wash over my feet and legs. Resting in His presence, listening to the wonderful words He has for me. Then He asked me to describe the ocean. At first I was confused, why would the Lord ask me to describe something He created but the request was flashing in me like a neon sign so I did. The ocean is huge and expansive that it encompasses most of the earth, it is so large and deep that we don't know the depths of it or all the fullness that is in it. The ocean is constantly moving and flowing, but is a consistent being that is beautiful and unpredictable. After describing it the Lord told me I just described Him. I was in awe, He was right, of course, every attribute of this beautiful expanse in front of me was Him.

My heart was so full and my eyes were spilling over with love and joy. Father God is so good and showed me Him in the most precious way, and gave me a glance of knowing Him that I had never expected and have never had before.

I love you Lord!

 Thank you.

God Bless.
