Man oh man! What a feat this was. We climbed 13,045ft for 8 hours to the top of this dormant volcano and it is one of the best and worst experiences I have every had. The entire way up I was in pain and felt terrible, but once we got to the campsite for sunset, it was all worth it. The view was beautiful, breathtaking and totally God created.
I am not the most physically fit person, it takes a lot of effort for me to walk up a hill let alone a mountain. So when I agreed to do this I knew it wasn't going to be easy and felt like a crazy person when starting. But here is the thing, I did it. I actually did it. I climbed all the way up a mountain and back down again. This reason for this is two things: God gave me the strength and endurance to keep going and the wonderful friends who helped and encouraged me to keep going.

It was an experience I won't quickly forget, and am so thankful to have done.

Love you all!                                                                                                          God Bless
